To enable you to be prepared we advise that each room will be equipped with the following:
If you require anything additional to the above, please email your request to [email protected] and we will endeavor to meet your requests.
All TEMC presenters, whether invited or accepted via the call for proposals, must be aware of and agree to the TEMC terms and conditions, including the speaker registration fee, and the privacy policy.
TEMC is a conference for staff in the tertiary education sector. Its focus is on excellence in professional practice, and preference is given to current practitioners. Presenters of concurrent sessions and posters should therefore represent a tertiary education institution.
If a session is co-presented with a commercial vendor or partner, the higher education representative must be the lead author and presenter.
Sessions must be presented by the named authors. Proxies will not be permitted except in an emergency such as ill health. All speaker changes and additions MUST be communicated to the organisers as early as possible.
The TEMC Organising Committee reserves the right to accept or refuse any proposal. The committee may ask presenters to revise a session proposal to strengthen the overall program design.
The proposal, as submitted, will be used for program selection purposes. If selected, an abstract will be published in the conference program.
All presenters must register and pay for at least the day of the conference on which they are presenting.
Presenters are entitled to register at the discounted early bird rate.
The deadline for presenter registration is 25 July 2022. After that date, sessions by unregistered presenters will be removed from the conference program.
Presenters are responsible for ensuring their sessions acknowledge the diversity of the tertiary education sector and provide equitable access for all participants.
Presenters are asked to agree that:
Presenters are responsible for obtaining appropriate copyright permissions for all presentation materials, including data, fonts, images etc. Citations and image credits must be included where appropriate.
A TEMC representative may take photos or record video while a session is in progress. The TEMC team may also take screen grabs of live streamed or pre-recorded sessions and poster presentations.
Images and video footage will be used for conference-related communications, post-conference highlight packages, and the promotion of future conferences.
