Pete has been providing consultancy to various higher education, housing, corporate, arts, heritage and third sector organisations since 2016. Pete founded this Consultancy following a career spanning nearly 20 years in student support, as a specialist in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and well-being at the Universities of Oxford Brookes, Oxford and York. Pete has also worked with the AUA most recently with Edinburgh University.Relevant projects include,

Wellbeing strategy projects with Higher Education Statistics Agency, Universities of Glasgow, Durham, York Saint John University (including pivoting to online services in response to Covid-19) and in country consultancy, keynote (to government education and health officials) and workshop in Singapore as well as seminars with Mind HK in Hong Kong. Guest lecturer since 2018 in the Education University of Hong Kong Dept of Special Education & Counselling.
A strategic overview enhanced by work with Public Health England (on planning training scenarios for suicide clusters in universities) after leading on a suicide cluster response at the University of York. Proposing and delivering the Vice Chancellor’s working group on Mental Illness that informed Universities UK practice.Delivering and refining
training on behalf of Student Minds to frontline teams (and back office corporate roles) in large student accommodation in London, Glasgow, Leicester and Norwich covering mental health and wellbeing in general alongside focus on self-harm, suicide, self-care and resilience.
