Car parking is available for hotel guests and is located under the hotel. An additional cost is payable if hotels guests wish to use the car park. Access to the car park is from the rear of the building on Macquarie Street. From the hotels main entrance drive along Davey street which is one way and then turn right on Argyle Street and immediately right again onto Macquarie Street.
Skybus has offered TEMC delegates a special offer to receive 15% off Adult One Way and Adult Return fares. Valid 22 August 2022 to 17 September 2022. Casual Business attire is suitable for the conference
Due to TEMC 2022’s commitment to sustainability, the venue will not be providing any single use stationary. Please bring along your own pen and paper.
The TEMC Committee and the conference organisers take the health and wellbeing of the attendees of TEMC 2022 very seriously. Social distancing should be practiced according to the advice from the Tasmanian Government.

All delegates and exhibitors will be provided with a name badge, which will give you access to all sessions. Please ensure you always wear your name badge.
Free wireless internet access is available for the duration of the Conference. The password and login details will be available at the registration desk.
PLEASE NOTE: The internet is not to be used to view or download any illicit material, including movies, music etc.
Any changes to the Conference program will be announced during housekeeping notices each morning. You may also check with Leishman Associates staff at the Registration Desk.
A delegate list will be emailed out a week prior to the conference. Printed delegate lists will not be available at the conference. If you had selected privacy required when completing your registration form, your name will not appear on the list.
As a courtesy to other delegates, please ensure that all mobile phones are turned off or in silent mode during all sessions.
Delegates are not permitted to use any type of camera or recording device at any of the sessions unless written permission has been obtained from the relevant speaker.
The members of the conference organising committee and Leishman Associates accept no liability for personal accident of loss or damage suffered by any participant, accompanying person, invited observer or any other person by whatever means. Nor do we accept liability for any equipment or software brought to the conference by delegates, speakers, sponsors or any other party. Please protect your personal property.
Do not leave laptops, cameras, and other valuable items unsecured. Be conscious of individuals who appear out of place and do not wear a conference name badge. Advise Leishman Associates staff if this does not occur.

If you have advised us of any special dietary requirements during the registration process, the caterers at each function have been provided these. A special buffet table will be set during the day for special diets. If you are unsure, please see the staff at the Registration Desk.
By registering for this conference, you consent to having your photo taken and used for promotional purposes. This may include Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Conference Website & Email Marketing. If you do not wish to have your photo taken, please advise Leishman Associates in writing.
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is recommended that participants take out their own general travel insurance. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover loss of fees/deposit, airfares, accommodation charges, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses. The insurance should cover loss arising from the cancellation of the conference by the organisers or a person’s inability to attend due to any reason whatsoever. No responsibility is taken by the conference managers for any person not holding insurance.
Various components of this event are being handled by Leishman Associates, a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO). If you have booked your accommodation when you registered, your credit card details have been transferred to the hotel you have selected – please confirm this on check in with your hotel.
The hotel will request payment on check out. If you have arrived 24 hours later than your indicated arrival day, you may find that you have forfeited your deposit.
If you will not be paying with your own credit card, and need to arrange payment before you arrive, the best way is via a credit card authorisation form enabling the hotel to process a third-party card. To do so, please contact the relevant hotel.
Please email [email protected] to cancel or change your accommodation prior to the conference. If you need to cancel your accommodation booking within 30 days of your arrival date, any cancellation fees will be subject to the hotel cancellation policy. Therefore, no accommodation refund can be guaranteed within 30 business days of the Conference. If you alter your accommodation booking after you have checked in, please deal directly with the hotel. If you arrive 24 hours later than your indicated arrival day, charges will apply.
Please bring your PowerPoint presentation with you when you register. All speakers should present themselves to the Speakers Preparation Desk at least one hour prior to their scheduled presentation time, to upload their presentation. An AV Technician will be present in this room to help upload the presentation. There will be facilities to test and modify your presentation if required.
All presentations need to be 16:9 in ratio.
Speakers are requested to assemble in their session room 5 minutes before the commencement of the session, if possible, to meet with their session chair and to familiarise themselves with the room and the audio-visual equipment.
If you are a chairperson, you will receive speaker information and session guidelines prior to arriving at the conference. If you have additional questions, please contact Leishman Associates.
Sometimes emails don’t get through firewall settings. To overcome this issue, please whitelist [email protected] and [email protected] if you find you are not receiving event correspondence.

Your Cancellation of Your Conference Registration
You may cancel your conference registration, by notifying us by email.
If you do not receive acknowledgement by email within two business days, please contact Leishman Associates on (03) 6234 7844.
You will only be entitled to a refund or partial refund as set out below:
Your cancellation – if you cannot attend because it is unlawful (eg, COVID-19)
If you are unable, or will, with certainty, be unable, to attend this Event for the reason that it is unlawful for you to travel to the venue or would be legally required to submit to quarantine or “lock-down”:
Your cancellation – for other reasons
The following applies if you wish to cancel your attendance at the Event for any reasons other than those noted above:
Cancellation or Postponement of the Event by the Host
The Host (and Leishman Associates, as the agent of the Host) may cancel or postpone the Event at any time, for any reason. We will notify you by email if any of the foregoing occurs.
Event cancellation
If the Event is cancelled, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid to date.
Event postponement
If the Event is postponed, and you cannot or do not wish to attend at the new date, you have the option to cancel your registration by notice to us by email. If you do so within 14 days of our notice of postponement, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid to date.
Important: If you fail to notify us by email within 14 days of our notice of postponement, we will take that as your acceptance that you wish to attend the Event on its new date(s).
Conversion to a fully Online/Virtual Event
The Host (and Leishman Associates, as the agent of the Host) may convert the Event to a partly or fully on-line/virtual Event at any time for any reason. We will notify you by email if that occurs.
If the Event is converted to a fully on-line/virtual Event (and you have not, initially, registered to attend as an on-line/virtual attendee) you have the option to cancel your registration by notice to us by email. If you do so within 14 days of our notice of conversion, you will receive a full refund of all monies paid to date.
Important: If you fail to notify us by email within 14 days of our notice of postponement, we will take that as your acceptance that you wish to attend the Event on its new date(s).
Your Travel and Accommodation Costs
Expenses for and arrangements you may make for travel and accommodation are at your sole risk. We recommend that you consider making accommodation and transport arrangements that permit variation or cancellation with appropriate refunds. We further recommend that you obtain insurance that will reimburse your accommodation and travel costs in the event of cancellation.
The Conference reserves the right to amend or alter any advertised details relating to dates, program and speakers, if necessary, without notice, because of circumstances beyond their control. All attempts have been made to keep any changes to an absolute minimum.
All intellectual property rights of the event, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the event is owned by the Host, Leishman Associates, Sponsors, &/or Speakers presenting at the event. Participants may not use, reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks or other trade names appearing at the conference, content, or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the Conference for any reason without the prior written permission from the Host.
No part of the Conference may be recorded, reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronically or mechanically, including but not limited to video or audio recording, photography, photocopying or any other information storage or retrieval system known now or in the future, without the explicit written permission of the Host.
