TEMC is dedicated to providing a harassment-free in person or virtual conference experience for everyone regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance,body
size, race, age, or religion. We will not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. All mediums where interactions take place, including Zoom, or virtual networking events are subject to these policies. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks. Conference participants violating these rules may be
sanctioned or asked to leave the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.
Harassment includes:
Attendees who asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.
If an attendee engages in a harassing behaviour, TEMC retains the right to take any action deem fit to ensure that the conference is a welcoming environment for all. This includes warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.
Reporting (in person)
If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please report it as soon as possible to Leishman Associates staff at the registration desk located on the Mezzanine level. Harassment and other code of conduct violations reduce the value of the conference for all. You may make a report either personally or anonymously. We all have a role to play in keeping our communities safe.

When taking a personal report, we will ensure you are safe and cannot be overheard. A report may involve others from the Local Organising Committee.
Our team will be happy to help you contact hotel/venue security, local law enforcement, local support services, provide escorts, or otherwise assist you to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.
These rules apply at all conference venues and conference-related social events.
