Aaron Cornwall is dedicated to supporting veterans and their families realise the possibilities available in higher education. Currently the Student Veteran Services Coordinator at Australian Catholic University (ACU), Aaron is on the ground developing and implementing support to student veterans completing tertiary study.

Having served as a Combat Engineer within the ADF and deploying as a High-Risk Searcher during Mentoring Task Force 3 (MTF-3), Aaron can speak firsthand of the challenges faced post service. After spending several years in the civilian workforce Aaron saw the value in continual education, going on to complete a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science in 2019 and then a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Exercise Rehabilitation in 2021.

Since 2020 Aaron has worked within the Student Veteran Services at ACU where he found true purpose and passion in supporting his peers to consider and access higher education, breaking down the self-impose barriers of ability.
