“Connect to Christchurch” Investing for Success
The Christchurch Organising Committee of ATEM and TEFMA extend to you a warm invitation to invest your time in attending and participating in the Tertiary Education Management Conference 2008 (TEMC 2008) in Christchurch New Zealand, from Sunday 28 September 2008 to Wednesday 1 October 2008.
“Investing for Success”, the theme for the 2008 conference, highlights the undoubted connection between articulating a vision for success in Tertiary Education and the deliberate strategies around investing in the achievement of that vision.
This conference provides the opportunity for delegates from all levels and sectors of tertiary education to consider how strategic investment decisions impact on the ability of their organisation to deliver quality outcomes and goals for the stakeholders.
The organising committee has worked with our professional conference managers to put together an impressive selection of key note speakers who are all well placed to add strength to the theme of investment in Tertiary Education in order to achieve success. The keynote speakers and the conference papers now being assembled will address investment in sustainability, quality engagement with students, investment in technology and in our tertiary estate. There will be case studies of best practice in investment and will include examples of partnering between our institutions and other parties to achieve the highest quality level of investment in our futures.
