TOUR ONE
Cool Climate Wineries – City & Country
The Canberra region is generally known for producing mouth watering ‘cool climate’ wines.  On this tour you will visit two wineries.

Pialligo Estate Winery:   Located in picturesque Pialligo, centre of colourful plant nurseries and orchards, our small vineyard is only 7 minutes from the heart of Canberra, Australia’s national capital.

Tastings of the award-winning, estate grown wines will allow the visitor to experience the benefits of this site. Clearly cool climate, the vineyard is set on the banks of the Molonglo River, with red sand over clay, produces fully ripe, deliciously flavoured, hand-picked fruit from hand-pruned vines.   Cheese and tea/coffee are also included.

Madews Winery, on the shores of Lake George – don’t be fooled – there is generally no water in the lake.  Award winning wines and hospitality with views to delight all visitors.

Cost: $78 per person including refreshments
This tour will depart from Hyatt Canberra at 2.00pm and return at 6pm
