EXHIBITORS
ACADEMIC SEARCH INTERNATIONAL
Academic Search International (ASI) is the first executive search firm in Australasia to operate exclusively within the academic sector and is a member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC).
The company was founded with an initial objective of assisting universities in New Zealand and Australia with sourcing and attracting professorial candidates globally. The founding directors established that universities were increasingly facing difficulties in attracting top calibre academics, particularly in view of the increased international competition they were facing. The rapid success of its methodologies readily translated into assistance with more clinical and research intensive positions as well as senior level appointments, such as Deanships and Chancellery appointments.
Our search approach is specifically tailored to the recruitment needs of universities, research institutes, tertiary providers and educational bodies. It covers all the discipline levels and is particularly effective for Senior Executive and professorial searches.
The cornerstones of ASI’s search process are meticulous research, a proven methodology and steadfast professionalism. With an expert search process that is extensive and far-reaching, ASI consistently delivers highly qualified candidates sourced worldwide. Because ASI's search process is such a positive experience for candidates, it not only generates far greater interest in the position but also reflects directly on the professionalism and quality of the client institution. ASI also works in close partnership with its client on every assignment to secure the appointment of an individual of the highest calibre.
